Group duplicate bugs

Our QA sometimes files the same bugs multiple times with slightly different title and description. Say QA1 files for a bug and the next day QA2 files for the same bug but with a slightly different title and description. Is there a way to automatically identify that the two bugs are the same, so that the devs dont have to look at the same bug twice?

Additionally, how do you group bugs that are mostly the same? For example, is there a way to tell that two bugs are 80% similar based on their description and then group them together?

This is an interesting question.

There are multiple apps that address detecting duplicates using AI! Even better, there is a popular app that allows merging duplicates. It can be very valuable, because even if a bug is reported twice, maybe different pieces of information are captured in the two issues and it makes sense to merge them to one which contains very details.
