I had been working with Jira for several months; the permission for changing the issues' statuses were defined well so far.
Recently I tried to connect the Jira app with TEAMS of Microsoft - I do not think that it was success anyway afterwards I open an issue like bug - and tried to move the status as usual but I could not do that. just to SEE the WORKFLOW.
Why? whats the relation btw these apps that could made the problem?! Please let me know what can I do to solve the issue.
Just to mention that since I tried sync TEAMS and JIRA - I have seen some USERS that I do not know them..

Thanks; Shira
Hi Shira,
Let's start with the workflow. What status were you trying to move from and to what status were you trying to move to? By the way, that should have nothing to do with any Teams integration.
It is more likely a restriction on the workflow based on some conditions.
Also, to see users you can go to Settings > User Management to see what users are active.
Thanks you for answer. no status to move was available. I re-set the workflow and associated to the issue types. But now; I have tried to set again the Constraints / dependencies among the statuses - without success :/
You think that it maybe relates to permissions - cause the sync for those apps are made me to define or find out who is the Admin of the project.. maybe something there was wrong ?
And the unknown users are applied just into the Reporter Field. not into the Assignee for example

If you are in a particular status and trying to go do a different status but can't, then it is probably one of two things.
1. There is a condition on the transition in the workflow to the next status that is preventing you from seeing the status. Check the conditions on the transition in the workflow.
2. If you haven't already transitioned other issues on the this project, you might not have the Issue Transition permissions in the Permission Scheme for the project.

I think it's maybe relating to 1 point you mentioned. But Can you please show me or guide specifically how to change or check the Conditions for status ? In last time someone did it.
Now if you tell me it should be done on the better side :) for now, all the statues are un deepened btw each other. every one (user) can change them or choose from the list.
[The question goal was - what cause that state for wrong workflow.. but let's exceed from here ], a lots of thanks, Shira
