Help with time tracking

Hi Community!

I need a little help with some questions about using Jira Software burn down charts and tracking time. I'm very new on Jira Software, so, please be as much specific as you can!

1) I would like to know why my burn down charts looks like it looks in the the attached image. We are estimating issues using time (hours) instead of story points at the subtasks level. The story is not being estimated neither time recorded.

Is there any idea of what I'm doing wrong based on the attached chart result?

2) How can I obtain a report or dashboard to get estimated time vs remaining time by assignee, task, etc?

Did you grant to your users the time tracking permission at the project level?

I have that set to any connected user.

Should I set that permission to an specific group?

No you don't have to set it to a group. I just wanted to make sure you granted the permission.

Are your users logging their time when they start working on a ticket?

Hi Fadoua,

Correct. I think that's the problem. 1) We aren't using story points. 2) We were estimating hours at the begining of the task.
