Hi all, is there any method to compare the resolved date with the sprint end date?

I need to compare the resolved date of the issue with the sprint end date for each assignee and display the delayed issues in a dashboard. Appreciate your help. TIA

Hi @Pramodya Gamaethige

I am curious what problem are you trying to solve by showing individual person measures for a scrum team on a dashboard?

Regardless of that issue, you cannot perform such a comparison with out-of-the-box JQL features of Jira.  You would need to purchase marketplace addons for scripting or reporting, or use such add-on scripting and/or automation rules to calculate what you want to measure, storing the results in custom fields.

Best regards,

Bill

Hi @Bill Sheboy

We have a key performance indicator called on time delivery % which is measured by (number of completed tasks/ total tasks assigned) * 100

This dashboard is for the project lead to see the on time delivery of each member of the team.

Much Thanks for the suggestion. I'm newbie to Jira and still exploring the possibilities. I added eazy BI and trying to get some hands on experience.

Appreciate your feedback.

Thanks for explaining that, @Pramodya Gamaethige

Do you have tasks which change assignees during their progress?  If so, you may not be able to get what you asked without some additional work.  (Jira does preserve a history of assignees, and the querying of it is a bit more complicated than can support dashboard counting.)  If this work hand-off is rare you may want to ignore that impact.

Best regards,

Bill

No. Currently we have distinct assignees per task.  Thanks for the advice. Appreciate it.

Hi @Bill Sheboy ,

I have a quick question and appreciate if you could support if possible.

Can we link Jira projects with MS Project?  I need to get a project overview with some additional fields and nothing seems to work.

Thanks in advance,

BR,

Pramodya

Hi!

I believe you would need one of the marketplace addons to do that.  Please investigate them here: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/search?hosting=cloud&query=microsoft%20project

If you only need this infrequently, you could also try to export the Jira data and import to Project, although that would be a bit of manual work.
