I am trying to create a filter but its showing only resolution and resolved alone...But time is not showing in the filter but dates are visible
Can you guide me on how to add resolution time to be added in the filter options
Hi @Rakesh welcome to the Atlassian Community!
You cannot display the MTTR (duration in days, hours, minutes, ...) as column on a filter out-of-the-box.
You can show following fields:
Hi @Dave Mathijs Thanks for the quick update....!!!
Got it. Is there any other way we can implement this in our projects.
I found few things when am exporting the issues its shows all the details including the resolved date & time but in Jira alone when we over the date its shows the time.

Hi @Rakesh
if you're open to solutions from the Atlassian Marketplace, this would be easy to do in the app that my team is working on, JXL for Jira.
JXL is a full-fledged spreadsheet/table view that allows viewing, inline-editing, sorting, and filtering by all your issue fields, much like you’d do in e.g. Excel or Google Sheets. It also comes with a number of so-called “smart columns” that aren’t natively available, including the resolution date and time, along with several other timing-related data such as time between created and resolved.
This is how this looks in action:
As you can see above, you can easily view, sort, and filter by the resolution date and time. Once you've narrowed down your list of issues, you can work on your issues directly in JXL, trigger various operations in Jira, or export your issues with just one click. You can also use the resolution date and time across JXL's many advanced features, including support for configurable issue hierarchies, issue grouping, sum-ups, or conditional formatting.
Any questions just let me know,
Best,
Hannes

Hi Hannes, Rakesh is looking for the total time to resolve an issue (f.e. number of minutes/hours/days from created to resolved), is that also possible with JXL?

oh sorry, I misunderstood. Yes, that would be available as another smart column, time between created and resolved.
You can view it in different formats, including e.g. number of hours or number of days.
Best,
Hannes
