Hi team, as a JIRA admin, i am unable to delete the comments from the issue.

Hi team,

As a jira admin i should be able to delete the comments but i am not getting the option of deleting it. 

I have a issue in which for different status i am getting the option of deleting the comments but for few status i am not getting the option of deleting the comments. Eventhough there are no properties enabled in that transition.

Just being an admin doesn't give you permissions to do things in projects. It only lets you administer. You need permission in the permission scheme just like any other user. Just in your case you can modify the permission scheme.

Thanks for the reply, i have permissions to delete the comment and i have cross verified the permission scheme also.

For few status during the workflow i can delete the comments but for few status i cannot delete the comments.

I would say there is a workflow property on those statuses stopping you but say you've checked for that. I would look for another plugin or listener.

There are no workflow properties set up still i am not able to delete the comments.

Before you raise the issue, have you tried the "permission helper"?
