Hi team, how can we add the request participants automatically in jira

Hi Team,

I want to add 2 users in the Request participants field automatically whenever the issues gets created.

I tried using Automation but in the Field Edit section i am not getting the field -"Request Participants" to update.

Hi @shrikant maheshwari ,

How is the rule failing? Can you go to Audit Log to see what happens and what is failing? Can you share a screen shot of that and a screen shot of the rule itself?

Hi John,

As i mentioned the automation rule is not failing but i cant find the field name (Request Participant") in the drop down list at the time of editing the issue while giving the "Then" condition.

please find the attached screen shot for the same.

So if i want to add any user automatically after issue creation in the Request participant field in JIRA how can it be done ?

So what is the path you are taking to access the automation? Why type of project is it? Are you using the Automation For Jira add-on?

Hi @John Funk 

Project type is Service Desk project .

I am going to automation via Project settings option.

I am not using automation for JIRA Add-on.

So you might try the Automation For Jira Lite free add-on. Otherwise, you will probably need to open a support ticket with Atlassian to see why the field is not showing up.
