Hide Project and Issue Type in Jira

swathi K July 29, 2018

Hi,

http://jiradev/CreateIssue.jspa?pid=11400&issuetype=3 is the URL which I'm providing for the users to create the issues. which means, the users need not select the project name or the Issue type for which users will be creating the issue.

But in the landing page user will be able to see the project name and Issue type. So I would like to hide even that also. I there any way to do it. Something like inserting the javascript in the banner

Thanks in advance

Hey @swathi K - welcome to Atlassian Community.

You don't have to hack this on your own.

What you're tring to do is called 'Issue Collector' and a built-in function. Well documented here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/using-the-issue-collector-938847338.html

Thanks for your response.

Does Issue collector have capability of configuring multiple tabs. Because im using around 30 fields in 2 tabs for issue creation.
