How can i hide or deactivate this smart replies in Jira Tickets?
We submitted a ticket at the Atlassian Support and after some Trial and error we got smart replies is removed.
I believe that this has been now fixed by having an option to edit it as a product admin from system settings.
To disable* the feature (affecting everyone in your Jira instance):
Go to (settings).
Select System settings.
Select Edit settings.
Next to Smart replies, select Off.

why does everything need to be turned on/off by an admin? why can't there be things a lowly user can do to turn things on or off if it is in the way or not useful to them? I'm not an admin and I don't want to see these smart replies as they are irrelevant to the types of comments I would add to a ticket, and they float and follow you as you scroll the ticket. I don't even know who the site admin is where I work.

Oh I see there is an option in my Personal Settings to slide the toggle for Smart Replies to Off!! the comment box still floats around but at least those smart replies are gone!!

@adm_ahs This is a new feature roll out. If you don't want this on their instance, you need to ask Atlassian to turn it off for your site. Hope this helps!

Has anyone actually been able to have Atlassian disable this feature?

@Matt Doar _Adaptavist_ I'm not sure, but we have contacted Atlassian for few other features and they have helped in the past.

@Matt Doar _Adaptavist_ , We are currently in contact with Atlassian Support regarding disabling "Smart Replies", so I really hope it can be done.
