How does one calculate commitment story points for a sprint.
Velocity chart shows 139/160 story points but sprint details show
128-->139 completed, 44 Not completed, 24 Removed.
As per my calculation, Commitment SP for Sprint should have been ( 128+44+24=196 ).
Hello @Meenakshi Khanna
In the docs it's pretty clear as to what exactly committed points means for velocity chart
In your shared data you have mentioned 44 points are "not completed" and 24 as removed, but were any of the issues from these 2 sets added after sprint start? Because if they were added after sprint start and later removed or left incomplete then they won't count towards the "committed" total of 139.
Thanks Tarun for your response.
Yes I checked and found that some stories were added to sprint after sprint start.
At Sprint start Committed story points were 160 ( 44+24+92 ).
139 completed includes ( 92+47 added ones )
Thanks a lot. I am all set for now.
