How can I add a hypertext link to the attachment ?

@Sergei Troshin the user asked Hyperlink of attachment not in the description field  user need the hyperlink below the Attachment,it is working in Jira cloud.Screenshot 2025-04-02 at 5.03.06 PM.png

Hi @vilhan and Welcome to Atlassian Community!

It seems that you are a former Data Center user and want to reproduce the Data Center attachment feature with a hyperlink that, when clicked, leads to attachment downloading.

However, I've found that Jira Cloud doesn't allow you to do it the same way. In Jira Cloud, you can mention an attachment like this (with a clickable big square):

The only way to make it smaller is by using the inline format:

BUT! I've discovered a more advanced way:

  1. Upload your attachment to the issue

  • Open browser DevTools and go to the Network tab

  1. Click the download button on the attachment

  2. Find the request that has a cdn value in the Initiator column

  3. Double-click this request and copy the link

  4. Create a hyperlink in the usual way

  5. And you'll get what you want:
