How can I assign a task to a team or group of users?

Since there are no leads in our teams, the tasks should be assigned to a group of users and one of them will take the task.

Is there a feature or a way to do so in Jira?

Welcome to the community.

Yes there is an option in Jira where you can add the multiple user in the specific tasks you just need to configure the field and can name that "Multiple User" or you can give any name.
