How can I create custome Release Note template on cloud edition?

I'd like to create a custome Release Note template on cloud edition.

I found below document but I thought it's for server edition.

Hi @根津宏和 , welcome to the community!

The article you mention is indeed for the server platform only. It requires editing velocity templates and that is not something you can do in cloud.

Have you considered creating your release note template in Confluence instead of Jira? That would give you a lot more flexibility and control over the text you'd like to include and the structure of your document. And you can use the Jira macro in Confluence to include the issues in your release, based on the JQL filter of your choice.

Hi @根津宏和

You are right in saying that the link talks about release notes customisation for Server/DC versions of the app. It does not apply to cloud.

The only way to customise release notes content on cloud is to use an app that works on top of Jira. I will suggest taking a look at our free app for Cloud, Automated release notes.
