Hi there
I have a number of (old) kanban boards that are attached to filters that no longer exist. As a result, these boards are no longer accessible, either to me (admin) or the owners.
It has been suggested that the only way to access these now will be to go into the database and change the filter to a valid one.
Can you please confirm that this is the only way? There are over 90 and we need to clean them up.
Many thanks
Leisa.
Hi Leisa
I'm guessing that you're on Jira Server and I only have the cloud version, so the UI is probably different, but I am able to show all boards (manage boards?). From there, without opening a board, I have the option to delete it
Are you able to see these boards listed? Does this help?
Thanks for your response Warren. Unfortunately, no, the invalid boards don't appear when I view all boards - even if I give the board owner admin rights and log in as them. I also have a configuration integrity checker which produces a list of all the invalid boards, including links, and when I click on the links i get taken to the manage boards page but there is a message saying "the requested board cannot be viewed because it either does not exist or you don't have permission to view it". This also occurs if I log in as the board owner.
