Hi,
I would like all the tasks in my project to be automatically created in status TO DO instead of BACKLOG.
Unfortunately, I cant just edit the workflow as the project template is shared with other projects.
However, I can't find a filed "STATUS" in the automation rules.
Would appreciate the support here.
Hi Aleksandra,
Please see the below screenshot on how to do it. you can choose your destination status as required.
Kindly accept the answer if it meets your need.
Thanks,
Aditya
Hi sorry, not really.
Shall I create an automation rule to transit the issue?

Status is not really a field, it is a display of where something is in the workflow.
To change status, you need to transition the issue from one step to another in the workflow.
If you want to automate this, look for the automation action that transitions an issue!

If this is a CMP Kanban board and if you want all issues to start in to do then maybe you should eliminate the backlog altogether. You can do this by going into board settings then columns and drag your status is in the backlog over to your to do column.
