How can I make the Sprint Health Gadget count "complete" to include both "closed" AND "resolved"?

Ellison Moore September 11, 2020

Slack___Co___SmartNews___4_new_items.pngThe Sprint Health Gadget currently only counts Closed tickets as Complete. This is causing the percentage of "work completed" to be inaccurate. Is there a way to change the settings so that the gadget counts Resolved tickets as Complete, as well as Closed?

Hi Ellison, welcome to the Community. I am assuming maybe Closed and Resolved are columns in your board or statuses in your workflow or both. Assuming so, keep in mind that Jira scrum considers items to be 'complete' and thereby count for burndown etc. if the issue is in the far right column of the board. Issues in any other column are not considered 'complete. Can you give me a bit more info on your situation? Maybe a screenshot of your board configuration for columns - board settings > columns.

Hi Jack, thanks for your quick response! Here is a screenshot of the board configuration:

So I would expect all issue in Closed and Done to be counted. I would not expect Resolved to be counted. Does this align with what you see? Full disclosure here - I have not used this gadget in over a year so my understanding might be incorrect/dated. With that said let’s take a close look at you current sprint board and your health gadget and compare the numbers. Can you provide bot screenshots to satisfy my interest?
