We like to use the time tracking function in Jira Cloud, but we want to prevent the user from booking hours in the past x days.
Is their a possibility to configure the a past Date-Range? Or is their any addon which can do this and still book the hours on issue level?
We tried Timetracker, which offers the possibility, but we weren't able to book the hours on issue level on the active sprint board
Hi Alexandra,
Tempo Timesheets has a period configuration that allows you to restrict time tracking time for a period that has been closed. You can learn how to do that in Tempo Timesheets here. Hope this helps.

Mike
Thanks for this detail ;-) I checked it and it is working fine!

Unfortunately this link isn't working anymore - does anyone have a newer one for me or maybe another link to get this information - I'm currently struggling with the same issue

Hi Christian,
I installed it as a try version and found the possibility to say how many days in future I'm allowed to book hours, but not for the past.
Do you have any other idea?

Do you find any solution for the past without changing the submit periods?
