How can I prevent 'normal users' from seeing the time values of their colleagues?

Clemens Kleibusch October 4, 2018

The European data protection rights require that users cannot see the work values of their colleagues.
It is expected that each user can log his time, but only a privileged user (the manager) can see the times of the other users.
When I go into the activity area, i see for each worklog entry the worklog id and the old and new value of the time counter. Related to the user!ScSh2018-10-04_16_58_57.png

How can I reach this goal?

Thanks to all in advance!
Clemens

Hi

Maybe this answer in the link can help you

https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/How-hide-Activity-tab-panel-in-issue-when-user-is-member-of/qaq-p/246031

Are you sur that the RGPD require to hide this info?

Thanks for your response.

I don't want to hide the whole tab (the "All" tab) in the activity area but only the "Time spent" entries.

I'm not sure that the RGPD require to hide this info, but my boss is!

Thanks again

Hi Mohamed,

thanks again.
But I cannot be sure that every user will use this possibility to restrict the access. Most of all with every logging event.
