×We use 'Scenario, Scope, Success criteria' custom fields in place of description. In the new issue view, these show up on the right hand side instead of in the main section of the ticket. How can I make these show up in the main section where description is by default?
HI @Zoe Feltham
Welcome to the community!
We use 'Scenario, Scope, Success criteria' custom fields in place of description.
Can you please confirm Which type of custom field it is?

Thanks for the response.
As you mentioned in comment, if these three custom fields type is text then it should show on the details section of issue view screen like Issue type, priority, label fields.
Can you please attach the screen shot of the issue detail view which you have been added those three fields.

@Yogesh Mude That's what we don't want though - we use these in place of description and they can be very long, so sticking them on the right hand side with priority and labels makes ZERO sense. See screenshot for example... Can we configure Jira so that they show in the much larger left hand column?
I'm talking about the NEW issue view here... the old issue view was fine.

Yes it's jira cloud - the version you have a screenshot above is the old issue view, my screenshot is the new issue view that's being rolled out. So you're saying that what we want isn't possible?

I'm afraid the new view is not configurable like that, you can't move the fields over.
