I set up a board and now I am trying to figure out to set up this board that it creates automatically tickets when an email is received.
@lisa ,
You need to setup incoming mail handler though that you can create issue when email is received on specific email address.
Refer this doc - Incoming mail handler

Hi, I seem to be having some trouble setting up my incoming mail server.
I'm not sure what i'm missing here.
I set up the incoming mail imap.gmail.com (host) mail server. I entered the app password which I got from the gmail security space.
I then created a mail handler - 'Create a new issue or add a comment to an existing issue' and set the parameters as instructed.
When I test the connection it says it's all good, however, when i try to send an email from my personal email to the email i have specified in the server and mail catcher - nothing seems to happen in Jira.
I feel like i'm probably missing something obvious but not sure what?
Please help

It does seem to work - just seems to be an hour delay or something - although if there's images in the description, how do you get these to come through as they are? is there a special trick for this?
