How can I stop the issue view screen reformatting after the page finishes loading.

When we click on an issue the view issue screen opens in a new tab. When it first opens the contents of our custom fields use the full space provided. The contents are displayed under the field name, indented by a few characters. All good. However, when the page finishes loading the contents jump to the right of the field name and only use a small portion of the available space. If a field has a significant amount of data in it, it makes it more difficult to read. Can the screen be prevented from making this jump after the page finishes loading. We are using JIRA Cloud. See before and after images attached. Thanks.

Not quite sure why you are using additional field called "User Story" for gathering story information. You can use default "Description". This will show in a separate section on the Issue View but I do not think that there will be a UI problem with that.

Correct the "JIRA" fields are fine. The UI problems only seem to be linked to work fields. I inherited the setup. We use the description field for additional information rather than for the user story hence the user story work field. It was felt the description field became too cluttered, especially when reporting.
