How can i Retrieve Deleted Custom fields in JIRA ?

Some one Accidentally deleted A custom field which was used in several filters. Is there a way to retrieve it back ?

Answer accepted

The only way to retrieve a deleted custom field is to restore your Jira form a backup.

Are you backing up your data? Xml or database?

@Jira Atlassian @Sid didn't mention in their reply that restoring from a backup will OVER WRITE the current database.

can you check if the file exist in that location. make sure you give same name and extension
