My automation works well and as i want but i can't tag that persons who are diplayed by automation.
Here how it looks like now:
Here the list of sub-tasks as you can see it's works.
And i want to have like that:
Now I'm trying to find out how to change displayed names to Tagged.
All the best,
Ostap
Hello @Casper ,
Welcome to the community !
As mentionned, when there are many subtasks and thus many assignees to tag you should use instead :
{{#issue.subtasks.assignee}}[~accountid:{{.}}], {{/}}
Hope it helps !
Kind regards.
Hi @meliodas16,
It's working!
Thank you
With this solution I found a new quest, How can I prevent duplicates of assignee tags.
Let's imagine i have 4 sub-tasks and 2 of them are assignee to the same person, so in the comments i will tag a user twice, can you help me to prevent those dublicates by some smart values or rules etc...
All the best,
Ostap

Hi @Casper
You can try using this smart value: [~accountId:{{assignee.accountId}}]
It works for me. I hope its correct.

Yes, it works, but not for multiple IDs.
Here how it looks like when you try for multiple IDs:
In this comment are 3 IDs, but it's just tagging some default option 'User'
All the best,

Hi @Casper
I'm sorry for not reading your requirements carefully. I thought you wanted to tag user from assignee field. Frankly, you can only tag a specific user using [~accountId:their account ID] (EX: [~accountId:557057:1d4fd7f4-bbac-4466-82ee-aaabbbccc]) which will take a lot of effort and also might return the wrong result.
Here's a link to the document I found: Jira smart values - users | Cloud automation Cloud | Atlassian Support
I hope the document will help
Sincerely,
Khang
