Hello, guys, i have a big question.
I wanna manage two boards in one project.
We have one main board with JQL filter, which collect all our work projects.
And we have single projects of all work projects.
We wanna see in each single project two boards:
1. Board of this project = "МГУУ / MADI"
2. Main board with all tasks with JQL filter = "Заказная разработка"
Three questions:
1. How can i add existing board to new project, without duplicating board?
2. How can i change order in existing single projects, to the project board becomes the first in order? Now we have reverse order.
3. How can i delete second board from the existing project?
Hi,
Filter query for "Заказная разработка"
But i still dont have answers to my questions:
1. How can i add second existing board to existing project, without duplicating board?
To this menu
3. How can i delete second (third, fourth) board from the existing project?
Also in this menu
You cannot delete it from the dropdown without removing the board OR removing that project from the Scope of that board.
In the same way you can add more boards to the list by simply clicking the Create board which is the last option in the menu.

Hi, Vlad, you can only do that if the project which you are accessing the board from is within the scope of the pre-existing board.
So for example, editing the filter query for that board so that the project is included will make it show in the dropdown but keep in mind issues from that project will get added to the board too.
In summary, that dropdown is not customisable where you can add unrelated board - if the board is relevant to the project then it will show.

Hi, Vlad,
You can remove/manage boards by going to:
And clicking the ... on the far-right of it. You can also create new boards from this screen.
The other place you can create board is exactly where you are on the screenshot - you can Create board and it will prompt you for the type of the board and the issue source you want.
Regarding the order of the board on that drop-down from your screenshot, it is ordered alphabetically and it can't be customized in any other fashion.
Let me know if that answered your concerns,
Cheers!
Filipi Lima

You can also delete it from the board Configure area itself:

@Filipi Lima hello, no issue resolved
1. and 3. questions should be manage inside the project, not all Jira
if i DELETE board with your instructions, board DELETED from all Jira workspace, not from view of one project
and ADD also, board duplicate existing, not simply ADD existing board to the existing project
2. I`m understood that alphabetically order. Thanks.

Hi, Vlad,
The boards will show for a given project whenever the project is within the scope of said board. The only way to selectively remove a board from a project is to edit that board's Filter Query so it stops showing.
If you edit the Filter Query an existing board to include your project, it will immediately start showing in the drop-down.
As you noticed, removing from either <JIRA_BASE_URL>/secure/ManageRapidViews.jspa or through the Configure area will remove it from the instance.

Hi, @Vlad Lobanovski , a board can only have a single filter query. You may edit it so it covers more or less projects.
What is the current board filter query for "Заказная разработка"?
