Our previous admin leave the organization , now we need admin access for new person
Our previous admin has left the organization, and we now need to provide admin access to a new person. Can you guide us through the process to grant the necessary administrative privileges to the new user? Additionally, if there are any specific security measures or steps we should take to ensure a smooth transition and maintain system integrity, please let us know.

if you are using a Centralized user management content then the existing org admin other than the one who left needs to follow the below steps
To give someone an organization admin role:
Go to admin.atlassian.com. Select your organization if you have more than one.
Select Directory > Users.
Find a user, then select their avatar or Show details.
From the 3 dot icon at the top of the page, select Assign org admin role.
Select Assign role to confirm.

To give someone an organization admin role:
Log in to your organization at admin.atlassian.com.
Choose Settings > Administrators.
Click Add administrators.
Enter an Atlassian account email address and click Grant access.

In case there is no other user who is the org admin then you can do the following
- Check with your IT team if they can retrieve and make the email of the org admin that left the org active so that they can recover the account and password for one of your teammates to log in with the account and then you can follow the above steps

Only existing site admin or org admin can grant the admin access to a new user. If non of existing admins available then you need to reach out atlassian vendor by submitting a ticket. https://support.atlassian.com/
