How do I create a word macro that is editable?

I am having trouble creating an editable word macro on my confluence page. Below are the steps I followed: 

1. Uploaded my word doc on the page

2. Inserted the word macro, and then chose the word doc

3. Clicked save, and then publish

4. Then I went back to see if I could open the word to edit it and it did not allow me to. 

Please help.

As per the Atlassian documentation of the Office Word macro, it embeds the word document in the confluence page preserving the formatting and other MS Word functionalities. But it does not provide the option of editing the contents.

@Alicia Leja As far as I am aware currently there is no feature natively available to achieve this in the cloud. You can look for a plugin in the marketplace.
