Hello, I'm trying to export my Jira Software data to an excel document. I have a couple questions -
1) Can I filter by certain sprints?
2) How do I change what fields get exported? I've seen a few answers to this for Jira Cloud but my team uses Jira software so the answers I have found haven't helped.
I'm assuming that you're exporting from a query. When you do that, you can set the particular columns that you want to display in the query and then, when exporting from the query, select 'Current fields' instead of 'All fields'. This is how I would do it in Jira DC, but I think that Cloud works the same way.
Thank you! Now I'm able to get almost all the fields I need. Do you know what field I need to select to include the issue's ID? For example, if the code is abc-5, what field should I select to have this show up on my exported CSV?

That is the 'Key' field.

Hello @McKenna Hogan
for excel exports I use this Atlassian plugin . You can filter with JQL and even choose which fields you want to put into the table!

Hi! That app looks useful but it is only for Jira cloud. I am using Jira software. Are you familiar with any ways to do this in Jira software?

Hmm I am not sure I understand - do you mean you are using Jira Server? From the tags it seems you are using Jira Cloud.
Anyway if you use Server, I am not sure. But on Cloud it's actually a plugin for excel, rather than app for your Jira instance. You can get it easily on this microsoft page .
