We moved from Jira Server to Cloud and I am finding that some Key Values are not redirecting or being found if I try to search them in Cloud.
Example: Before the migration the ticket number was ABC-12345 then changed to CBA-54321. If I did not know it was changed to CBA-54321 the migration does not know to redirect ABC-12345 to the right place. How can I find that new value if I only have it's original value?
It looks like I can see that the values are maintained in the History of the ticket, but I am unsure how to search the change history by a previous key value.
How did you "migrate to Cloud"?
My company did, I did not personally do it. I was hoping there was a way to search it using a JQL query.

Ok, I understand. There might be a way to search, but without knowing what method was used to do the migration, we cannot know what shape the data might be in, so we cannot really talk about the possibilities with any confidence.
The fact the key changed suggests an import of some form, rather than a "migration" (I tend to think of "migration" keeping almost everything the same as it was in the source) but that may not have retained the data in a searchable format.

Fair enough. I just assumed it was searchable because I can see the History data. Seems like the data was transfered over in some capacity.
For example, I can see every key change that happened before the import/migration.
