How do I get a custom field to show in the options for selection for release notes?

I've created a field called 'Environment' with a multiselection dropdown. I'd like this field to show in the release notes but it's not showing as an option in the 'formatting options'. Is there a specific screen I need to associate the field with so it appears for selection in the 'formatting options'?

Hi Fazila. Thank you so much for your response. I need my field for environment to show as a selectable field when clicking the highlighted button. You'll notice from the second screenshot that there is a field for 'Environment' (circled in red) but that is not the one I created. That was created by the admin before me. I need my field to show there and maybe a couple of others

Unfortunately that section supports only the text based fields :( 

If you choose the confluence option, it is flexible to include other type fields available in the project..

Has anyone figured out which types of fields would show up?

From my instance, I notice that "Text Field (single line)" works. From the documentation, I can see that "Paragraph" is supposed to work too.

Are those the only 2 types that work?
