How do I move the resolved issues to archive?

Rajesh Kumarasamy December 30, 2022

I have done some research and tried differently but still, I could not find the correct way to archive the issues.

Hi @Rajesh Kumarasamy and welcome to the community!

There is no way to archive individual issues in cloud. There is an option to archive full projects, but not individual issues.

Hey @Alex Koxaras -Relational- thank you for the swift response and the welcome. If there is no option to archive individual issues. Could you please tell me if there is an option to hide the resolved issues from the backlog. Because it is getting really difficult to manage all these issues while refining the PBIs and Sprint planning.

@Rajesh Kumarasamy you can hide the resolved issues (the ones who have a resolution) in two ways:

  • Add a version to them and then release the version. The issues are still searchable, but not visible on the kanban
  • User the hide older than feature that comes with the kanban board. This will automatically hide issues older than a predefined time. Go to (kanban) board settings > general > scroll down till you see the following:
