How do I move the side bar back to the top?

How do I move the side bar back to the top?

For some reason the tool bar moved from the top to the side. I would love to position it back to the top location as was initially.

would greatly appreciate your help as I am completely new (3 days) to Jira.

I could not find the "use old layout" on my profile!

GO into your profile and look for the "use old layout" option, that will take you back to the previous version of the UI.

However, this will not be permanent, Atlassian are going to remove the old UI at some point, and you will be stuck with the new one. I don't know when this will happen.

Ok, it's moved again - look on the left in the blue bar for "turn off for now"
