How do I recover tickets and sprints once i've deactivated an old project lead who started them?

I had an old project lead who created a lot of the pieces of our project in Jira. I had to deactivate him as he is no-longer with us and we are missing the sprints now from our board! Does anyone know how to recover these?

Under administration menu, look for shared filter, hopefully there is some where you can change the owner. Hopefully this will help.

Can you tell me where I would access this? I don't see the Administration menu or shared filter...thank you!

you would need to be an jira administrator to see this, try click GG som where in jira and you shall get at search bar, search for shared filters.
