How do I see only my board and my sprints in a Jira project which has multiple boards?

Sanchita M March 22, 2018

I am a new Jira user. I have created a board and added my team members. But when I see the board I can see other team members and also their sprints. How do I filter this? I want to see only my sprints and my team members. Can anyone help?

Thanks,

Sanchita

Hello,

Update your board filter to restrict to the results.

Include the fields for your team and sprint in your board filter.

Hi Nisha,

Thanks for the reply. Can you tell me from where I can update this. I go to Board > Configure Board > General. There I see a section called Edit Filter Query. Do I have to edit this query? What exactly I have to mention in this query to see only the sprints that I created?

Sorry, I am very new to Jira and getting confused.

Thanks for your help.

Yes.  You are in the right place.

Edit the filter and use based on your requirement.

Ex.  If you work on project A and B and have created sprint ABC, then to get all tickets in sprint ABC, the query below will work.

project in ("A", "B") AND sprint = "ABC"
