How do I see to which project roles in which projects a group is assigned to?

Hello, How can I see to which project roles in which projects a group is assigned to and where in workflows a group(name) is used?

We don't give permissions to groups in Permissions Schemes, we give permissions to Project Roles.

I need to changes some group names. That's not possible in Jira, as I understand. I have to find out what the permissions and project roles and mentions in workflow transitions of the original group are to setup a new group with exactly the same rights.

Thanks for helping me!

I think there are no view/report which show this information. Better use the solution described in this answer:

https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/How-does-jira-query-all-linked-issues-use-jql/qaq-p/853125#M274296

where I describe how make query in Jira database and see the result in Confluence page.

Hope this help

Hello Fabio, I'm sorry, but I don't see the relation between that answer and my question.

Let me explain and hope I don't misunderstand :-O.

your question is: Hello, How can I see to which project roles in which projects a group is assigned to and where in workflows a group(name) is used?.

There are no report/JQL/tool to see the datas you need (I don't know if exists. Usually I check marketplace and make review of this addon in my blog but never see addons which have this view. Sorry me). But, you can do query in Jira Database and discover this. I've used another answer where I describe how make query easily using Confluence and a free addon.

In my answer I describe how use Confluence and an addon to query in Jira Database and I put the URL of Jira documentation wher you can see Jira Table schema.
