If I don't select a default value for resolution on the resolve issue screen, then I am able to select a resolution from the drop down resolution field. If I choose a default value, then I can no longer change the resolution on the fly.
How can I set a pre-selected value for the resolution of an issue, rather than a default value? A pre-selected value would bring up the drop down menu with the resolution value set on the pre-selected value. The user would then either accept the pre-selected value, or select another value and accept the new value.

I don't know that you can make a change to preselect a value since it is a system field. At least, I am not aware of a way.
I was wondering if that was the case. Easy to do for a custom field but a system field, I could not find a way either.
