Dear community members,
I am facing the problem that we have one central Jira board in which many components are managed. I am a developer and feel responsible for 3-5 components, but I have no means to get a quick overview of Jira tickets in this board which are related to one of "my" components.
I'd like to use QuickFilters, but they are not personal, and that means when I ask our admin to create filters for "my" products, everyone will see them and will want filters for their products too, and we will end up with dozens of filter buttons cluttering the screen.
I wonder if anyone has been in a similar situation, has found a solution to this problem, and would be willing to share their experience.
Thank you
Hans
Hi @Hans Schleichert welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Why don't you create your own agile board with a board filter limited to the issues for your components?
Hi @Dave Mathijs, thank you for your suggestion! Our admin forbade me to create boards. But I'll try to convince them if there is no other solution...

eeekk why would your admin do that? Creating Boards is a fundamental function within Jira. Work your charms convince them otherwise.

@Craig NodwellI don't want to speculate about their reasons. Maybe it is because we are going to move to the Atlassian cloud in a couple of weeks.

A change freeze would be a valid reason indeed. Excited about moving to the Cloud, great choice!

I accepted this answer although it doesn't help me right now, because it seems to be the only way to solve the problem.
