How do you now create subtasks for issues ?

I used to be able to create subtasks for my issues (Stories) and now this feature seems totally gone.   There is a 'Add Child Issue'.  Does this replaces sub-tasks ?

How do we now add subtasks and assign hours to them instead of story points ?

I'm using Cloud - Team Managed - Jira Software.

yes add child gives you subtasks

Do you know how to estimates child issues in hours and stories in points ?  I'm still struggling with that one.

What is the problem you are encountering in trying to estimate Stories with Story Points and subtasks with time?

Do you have the Story Points Estimate field showing for your Story issues? Do you have the Original Estimate field showing for your Subtasks?
