Hi,
I'm new to JIRA Software.
As of today, I can't find a way to create or edit the current parent-child relationship of issues.
The default is:
epic
story-bug-task
subtask
While I'd prefer to use this one:
epic
feature
story-bug
task
Can I do this, and how?
Thanks a lot for your help
Matt
You have some options with apps - Structure or Agile Tools for example.
Hi
You can configure issue types under options->issues->issue type schemes.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Thanks for your answer.
That actually doesn't solve my issue, however.
I want to hierarchically sort issues while, as of today, whatever new issue I create is listed at the same level of stories, then you have epics above and sub-tasks below and that's it.

I see, so you could try to configure custom hierarchy under Roadmap: Plans->Administration->Hierarchy configuration. Or add a "Parent link" field to issues screen to manually set up parent-child relation.

I think these are only Premium options, while I'm on a standard Plan. And I was trying to avoid spending double my current price just to add a issue level, it is frustrating.
