We usually don't use the log work feature, but the pie chart displays time for each slice anyway when "Time Spent" is selected.
How is Time Spent tracked?
Any ideas here? Got the same problem - no idea from where the values in Workload Pie Chart Report are taken and I'm not able to find any answers online. Looks like random values for me
Hello @upto you
Welcome to the community.
The first thing to do is look at the configuration for the gadget to see what it is selecting.
Then execute a search for the same issues and review the Time field selected in the gadget.

Looks like the Quantify plug-in records data in the same place as the "Log Work" feature.

Hello, our plugin doesn't use native "Log Work" and stores data in a different place. Our goal is to provide you with the most accurate data that we can fully control.

The chart can be configured to report on any of three time fields; Time Spent, Original Estimate, or Current Estimate. It will report time based on the specified field. If nobody is using the Log Work field to record Time Spent, then maybe the chart has been configured to report on one of the other time fields. If you own the dashboard where the chart is displayed you should be able to edit the gadget to see how it is configured on that particular dashboard.

Even when Time Spent is selected, times are shown for each slice. What is it based on?

When Time Spent is selected, then the chart is showing data stored in the Time Spent field. Generally the Log Work feature is used to enter that data.
And the chart will display that data for any issue that is within the scope of the "Project or Saved Filter" that you have set in the gadget.

Looks like the Quantify plug-in is doing that behind the scenes. Thanks!
