How to Buy the plugin only for few users and not for all JIRA users in my company

Hi All,

In my organisation we are 30 people, so we have bought JIRA for all 30 users.

Now I want buy TM4J plugin only for my testing team,  which comprises of 5 people.

How can I achieve this, I don't want my company to pay for extra 25 users which are not going to use TM4J at all.

As per the atlassian licensing policy, the plugin license should be grater than our equal to JIRA user license.

I would have definitely shared one if I had any. Currently that is the way the licensing works. What I understand is it doesn't matter if one user is using the plugin or all, the amount if data the plugin needs to process will include contribution from all the users. For example dashboard or report related operations.

there is no workaround for purchasing a few licenses. Maybe if you explain what you are trying to do w/ TM4J there is an alternate (cheaper) solution.

I'm with you in this Shailendra, we hardly have 600 users using TM4J, but - we are paying for 2K users.

Bad thing is - the price hike on DC mode is painful. We used to pay 9K for 2K users.
Now, we are paying 25K for the same amount but on DC mode.

It's Killing !
