Hi, i recently signed up for Jira Cloud with my gmail account and it had new navigation (horizontal) enabled. I had an issue where my "site name" url was wrong and no way to change, so instead i signed up for Jira again with my work account (evaluating this for work) and everything worked BUT i'm on OLD navigation (vertical) layout which i find less intuitive. I cannot find option to enable new one, its not under my avatar-> settings . Could someone please help? thanks a ton!
Hey Alexey, welcome to the Community!
We are progressively rolling out the new navigation experience across Jira and Confluence Cloud. At this time there is no option to select your site to be opted in. I would expect the new navigation experience to deploy to your new site shortly though as the rollout continues.
If you absolutely require horizontal navigation before the changes are applied to your site and are using Google Chrome as your browser, you can install this Chrome extension and toggle the navigation experience on for Jira. I would recommend removing the Chrome extension once the new navigation experience rolls out to your site however, as there are some browser performance ramifications to running the Chrome extension.
Cheers,

Hi Daniel thanks for such a prompt reply!
I've found the roll out jira ticket and found link to the extension, however it doesnt seem to work. Toggling just refreshes the browser and setting goes back to disabled :(
But it sounds like the roll out is just around the corner so thats great to hear. I'm an old Jira user (though never as an Admin role) and I find new layout and cloud version to be fantastic!
