I am using the gitlab and Jenkins on my intranet when I commit.
The gitlab will be using API token to run a bash by Jenkins pipeline.
Now our QA wants to note the JIRA.
My gitlab will not expose to the internet.
So I want Jira will do same thing as Jenkins API token.
But I try a lot of ways they won't succeed. (gitlab connect to jira succussfully. oppositely, it can't work.)
How do I using intranet gitlab to connect Jira? (Jira do not connect my gitlab, like Jenkins)
And let Jira change the issue's status.
I don't know if I understood you correctly, but IMHO it is possible to connect Jenkins to JIRA via a Jenkins Plugin. This plugin uses the JIRA API to send issue updates to JIRA.
Hope that helps,
Kirstin
