How to Resolve "Issue detected Environment : Issue detected Environment is required."

When i am trying to create an issue type bug it is throwing the following error. Please find attached screenshot. Eventhough the detected environment is given i am not able to create the issue. Please help

Hi @Akil R As per the screenshot it seems that issue detected environment field is not available on screen but mandatory in field configuration. Kindly contact Jira Admin to make field non mandatory from Field Configuration which is mapped with Bug issue type . If field is not mandatory in Field Configuration then check Workflow validator , might be field is set to Required in workflow validator.

It is not.  That message is exactly what happens when the field configuration tells Jira the field is mandatory.

I suspect you are looking at the wrong field configuration.

To see the validators that might be doing it, you will need your administrators to edit the workflow for that issue type.
