How to Select Epic Link when Screen Configures Epic as "Hide when empty"

### Scenario

Given Issue Layout specifies "Epic Link" in category "Hide when empty"

Given Kanban board shows swimlanes by epic with issue cards on the lanes

Given a card on the board is clicked and the issue screen opens up (as modal, _not_ a new tab)

When I hit ``.`` to open up the dropdown box for available actions

Then "Epic Link" should be available

But it isn't.

how am I supposed to edit the epic link in the issue screen (modal on the board tab)?

My workaround was to add the "Epic link" to always be displayed on the issue layout. But I actually don't want that...

"Hide when empty" fields should appear in the More fields section in the modal pop-up. Have you tried expanding that to show the empty hidden fields?

Yes, that works. Thank you very much!

What I actually would like is to use the "." keyboard shortcut and then select "Epic Link" from the drop down box. But that option is apparently not available - not even when I move "Epic Link" in the "Issue layout" all the way up to "Description Fields".

Maybe, Atlassian needs to fix this, yet.
