How to activate new Roadmap feature ?

I would like to activate a new Raodmap feature on JIRA cloud. I follow article https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftwarecloud/roadmap-957979308.html but I don't have Features link in Project settings

Hello,

It means that it is a classic project. You should create a next-gen project. You can find more info on how to create a next-gen project here:

New features are only available for new projects... I don't get it. I can't just create a new project. This approach is useless for existing JIRA users.

Not for new project but for next-gen projects. It is a different type of projects.

Correct. Roadmap feature was designed specifically for next-gen projects.

Long time user of it in house on server. Just signed up for Cloud and created next gen project. No Roadmap?!
