How to add Log Work in the Activity tab in JIRA server.

Select the issue you want to log time on.
Go to More > Log Work.
Fill in the Log Work fields, and select Log

You completely misunderstood the question.
The user wants to enable the "Log Work" tab on the Jira header, not log time on an issue.
I want to know the same.
