How to add Status in Overall test result gadgets : I have two different project and used filter to export results of both project together, I mean that two projects has link with each other in test. After executing test inside those, I have applied a filter and got overall test results that contains To do, Pass, Executing, Fail and Aborted. With this status I should display open defect and closed defect status in Overall Test results table in dashboard.
Note: Please find the attached photo for reference
@Vikas S. Even if you create a common filter by using key of the two projects and its source test execution statuses, this particular gadget needs either an "Analysis Version" or "Test Plan Key" in addition to the "Saved Filter".
If "Analysis Version" or "Test Plan Key" of both the projects are same then only you can expect the intended result of this gadget which I doubt in your case. I believe both the Analysis Version and Test Plan Key are different for the two projects in your case.
If they are not same then the built-in logic of the gadget does not support multiple "Analysis Version" or multiple "Test Plan Key" to be used in a single gadget.
You can verify this by crrating a dummy Version and link all your Test executions of both the projects to this particular version and then use it in the "Analysis Version" filed of the gadget. I hope it will work.
You don't need to add "status" to the gadget (infact you cannot) as the gadget is intended to display the "overall status" distribution only based on the required fields as inputs to the gadget.
@Mohajit Acharya Understood Thanks, about Analysis version and Test plan key where do we find in the project because I am new to this project I think they might not use those so that's why I am asking. Please reply, Thanks in Advance

For Ex: My query looks like this.
Project = "Project 1" AND issue in testExecutionTests(subquery) OR Project = "Project 2" AND issue in testExecutionTests(subquery)
Above is the query, I am using.
Project 1: First project
Project 2 : Second project - It has a link in tests with First project.
subquery for both condition are same which exports testExecutions issues
so here I want to show up its Open defects and Closed defects some how dont know where is they put up analysis version or test plan key.
It would be great if you spend some time and reply for my question. Thanks

@Vikas S , Analysis version is actually the "Fix version/s". You can find it in any Jira issue that you are testing.
For Xray, "Test Plan" is an Issue Type in Jira. On the Search page of Jira, you can search for Project <your project> and issue type <Test Plan> and select one of the Test Plan and then you use either Fix Version/s or Test Plan Key in the Xray Gadget.

@Mohajit Acharya From query which I mentioned above which returns lot of Tests and each test has different test plan and has its unique Key and Fix versions they kept blank. What should I do in this scenario. Thanks

By the way, do you have a correct query for that? What is your query sample look like?

@Vikas S I am not too familiar with X-Ray plugin but for it looks like you are using it. Are you an admin or just a general user?
See here is more info: https://docs.getxray.app/display/XRAY/Overall+Test+Results+Gadget

Thanks, I gone through this snippet before but here in this they didnot provide how to add statuses inside gadgets. I have an admin access but wouldn't show up anything to add those status.
