Hello,
I would like to add the due date to the front of the card view so that we can easily see it on our Kanban board without clicking into the ticket. However, I can't find anywhere to edit the card view of our team managed project. I have seen other similar posts however, when I navigate to my board settings, I do not see card layout as suggested in these posts; I'm guessing this is because these post are older and the UI has changed.
I have due date on my work items as shown below, but it does not appear on the card in the board view.
Hello @Kathryn Klarich
Team Managed projects don't currently support card layout customization. There is a change request to which you can add your vote.
https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-85694
If you use the system supplied "Due date" field in your Team Managed project then the information will be automatically displayed on the card. It appears that you are actually using a custom field named "Due Date" instead.
Is it possible for you to consider using the system supplied "Due date" field instead, and migrating the values from your custom field to that native field?
Thanks for your response - I didn't realize we were using a custom due date field. I switched over to the System defined due date field and it works perfectly!

hello,
Welcome to community :)
Currently, in Jira, the ability to customize the card layout (such as adding a "Due Date" field) is only available for Company-managed projects. Unfortunately, this feature is not yet available for Team-managed projects.
. To track the feature request.
In the meantime, you can Customize your view of the board and backlog and configure the available fields that can be turned on and off in team-managed projects. In addition to status, epics, and linked issues, you can now customize the visibility of the issue type, issue key, and priority and assignee fields. You can read more about it here.
Thank You,
Prachi

Thanks Prachi! Setting the due date field to the system due date field worked for me. But I will continue to follow the idea to customize fields shown on the front of the card.
