Hello everyone,
I would like to give coordinators permission to create projects in Jira.
What I was able to do to allow them to see the "Create project" entry was to assign their name as "Jira administrators", as you can see in the screenshot.
In this way, they are not system-level administrators like me, but they still have wide freedoms.
Is this correct or can I do it in other ways?
Can I then possibly restrict their permissions by modifying the permissions of the individual projects?
Thank you in advance!
@Sara V. What you explained is correct. They will be a Jira Administrator in that instance and will be able to do a lot more than creating projects. If you would like them to keep their standard access and create projects you can use an app like https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1211157/delegated-project-creator-for-jira?hosting=cloud&tab=overview
Thank you @Brant Schroeder !
I just have one more small doubt: I read this link How to give permission for creating projects (atlassian.com) where it talks about the global permission "create team-managed projects", which I can't actually see.
Is this normal?
