How to automate a label without erasing existing labels

Hi. I have automation set up to add a label when a bug is created, as well as when the status changes. I've noticed that the new label will overwrite any labels that are already there.

1. Is there a way to preserve existing labels and simply just add the new label to the bug?
2. Is there a way to overwrite a specific label but not overwrite other labels?

If you click on the ellipsis menu you have the option to add/remove a label instead of overwrite the existing ones.
